good Yellow w5w bulbs

I have Sylvania weather vision fog light bulbs, which are somewhat yellow on my CX9 to go with my HID headlights. I do not like how the amber park lights look with it (don't like the three color look). I ordered a set of the Halo yellow 5w5 to be frank im grossly disappointed by the color very uneven a poor substitute especially for 10 dollars a set. So my question is if anyone has experience with good yellow bulbs in 168, 194, w5w rather than the amber bulbs. Thanks in advance

TowerII from Autolumination.

Had a set in my 6 since '07. The heat from my high beams has not killed them yet.

I have a set of Hella H3s in my foglights. They were advertised as "selective yellow" but they are not very yellow to me

so the tower II from Autolumination is a nice deep yellow rather than amber, i'm assuming its a led. Yeah as for the fog lights if your looking for dark yellow like Lexus it basically doesn't exist anymore. If you want more of a selective yellow the Phillips Sylvania weather vision is the way to go, they are discontinued so not so easy to find. The Euro dezigns "yellow bulb" is an ion coated selective yellow filter bulb and it has a nice yellow color to it very close to the Phillips......

I plan on keeping the Hellas for now. I mainly wanted selective yellow so I wouldn't get high beamed on the rare occasion that I actually use my factory foglights (ie: in fog) People see 4 lights on in your headlamp assembly and assume that you have your highbeams on. Never mind the fact that 2 of them are pointed downward to illuminate under the fog. The color actually works pretty well with the Hellas. Got to test them in the fog last week. But I'll keep my eyes open for Phillips Sylvania weather vision. Probably have to pay for shipping from France or something

I got a bottle of Vitrea 160 glass paint and made my own yellow signal bulbs. Dip the bulb in, let the excess drip off, air dry for a day and bake @350' for about 30 min. They look good and seem to stand-up well. (Probably wont work on halogen bulbs-way too hot)

FWIW, the Halo Solaris Yellow Halogen bulbs are pretty yellow, much better than their indicator lamps

for W5W/168 = a lot of people like PIAA. Too expensive. Slightly less expensive is Polarg

got H3... anything with a multi-layer coating is not selective yellow, Hella H3, PIAA Ion Yellow, Osram All-Season, etc.

(Hella) Optilux Xtreme Yellow is, because it is a solid yellow tint. I know people like the Noyka bulbs as well.

P.S. The 3 color look personally doesn't bother me... I don't drive with my fogs on all the time anyway (only as needed when conditions actually call for it)
