Moto Morini has come back to the US market. They are owned by a Chinese company, the bikes are designed in Italy and produced in China. They’re using a older Kawasaki 649cc engine made my CF Moto. They have Brembo brakes, Bosch ABS and ECU, Marzocchi forks, KYB shocks, Pirelli tires, tubeless spoke wheels, 7 inch TFT display, and full LED lighting. These two models run $7,000 and $8,200. They have up to $1300 rebate right now. It’s nice to see sub $8K bikes in this country. These Chinese made bikes are going to give the Japanese a run for their money in the future. The big names like BMW and KTM already make their engines in China.

A local scooter shop just became a Moto Morini dealer last year. They picked up the Royal Enfield franchise two years ago also.

Yes, we need more competition and it sounds like a fairly decent bike at an affordable price for new.

Reading between the lines (?) may confirm the heavy feeling. Have to remember this was an invitation to ride the bike not a full review.
Sounds good though, as far as fit and finish etc.

I think they’re onto something but currently the extra money spent on a Tenere 700 seems well worth it, IMO.
