In another few months they will be circling the drain.

I don't know.

Not denying that they have their problems. And I am one that has sworn off ever buying another GM product. (Not because of the recalls, but because I work for a company who is a Tier I supplier to GM, and GM is a pain in the @$$ to deal with. They have a definite "higher and mightier than thou" attitude. I really thought that would change after going through bankruptcy. But, no.

I'm starting to wonder if Mary Barra will be the saving grace for GM. She has already demonstrated a total 180 in management style. She seems to get it. I see a lot of the same approach that Toyota took during the fly by wire accelerator pedal fiasco.

I think it would be foolish to write GM off quite yet. We all need to watch and see if Mary is just words, or real action. So far, I would put my money on real action.

What isn't going to help our economy? Fords made in Mexico, GMs made in Canada, Toyotas made in Texas?
