2010 Tahoe LT. Has the buttons on the dash for the computer center. Went to check my OLM today (should be ~50% at 6000 miles like always), and it is at 100%. I am the only driver of the car, and no one else has been in it. You would need to bring up the OLM then hold in the reset button for several seconds - can't be done accidentally this way. Any ideas on how it could reset?

Mine doesn't reset when the battery is disconected but has reset once. Some models, I don't know if they all do this, will reset if the gas pedal is pressed three times. I think the ignition has to be on, engine off. Myabe try it once it rolls to 99% see if it will do it. May have accidentially happened and got reset.

cp3: you are correct... with the mother-in-laws GMC Terrian I have to turn on the ignition and push the gas pedal down 3 times--->slowly all the way and release... after a short bit--the OLM system will reset...

So, did I sit waiting for a meeting with the radio on, pressing the pedal without thinking about it - that is a possibility. Did not realize that with the computer buttons, the old school method still is active.

yes, it is. In my Silverado, for example, you can play with the steering wheel or just press the pedal 3 times. But the ignition must be on.
