GM EOC/TOC disconnect tool

Is there a special tool to disconnect the hard lines for the oil coolers on the radiator? Napa/Orly part #?

I can't tell you a part number but can verify that such a tool exists. The one I have is a pain to use. Maybe other designs work better.

I've found that a simple right angle pick works very well and is what I actually use. The pick can just pull the clip right out of the fitting allowing the line to slide out.

I concur with yonyon. A right angle pick, two angle pick (not to be confused with the multi curve pick) or a small screwdriver will suffice.

picking the clip out is easier than trying to use the special tools they sell.
