Changed out the oil cooler lines on a 2008 3/4 ton Chevy with a 6.0 LS gas engine. Here are a few items that You Tube videos can miss. Once everything is disconnected, it is easier to pull the lines out towards the rear. There is not much room between the engine mount and the engine bock. It helps to disconnect the knock sensor and the block heater heater cords.
When putting in the new lines, come in from the back and pull the hoses forward to the front. On a 4 wheel drive, firstly disconnect the front axle at the differential. This will provide more space for the block on the lines to be rotated into position. Once the block of the line assembly is in position, bolt it on. Then bend the rubber lines to get the lines up to the radiator. The red arrows show the new lines. The other photo shows the block attached to the lines and the lines folded up. Enjoy. There may be other ways but this worked for me.
