My 6L90 transmission in my 2008 Chev Suburban has 280,000 miles. It currently functions fine but I want to be prepared with a plan if it eventually needs rebuilding. I came across this You Tube video from National Transmission. National has several shops in Calgary, Alberta which is probably where I would take it to get rebuilt, come that day. I noticed that some of the info has already been recommended by @clinebarger who has posted several times, helping people with questions about these transmissions. Anyway, it's 7 minutes long and contains some pretty useful info on where are the trouble areas and how to improve on the transmissions when getting rebuilt. Enjoy.
