my grandfathers old shrimp boat. He had it built new in 1983 by Horton Boats in Bayou La Batre, Alabama, where it was named the Mr. Wayne Jr, after my uncle. He sold it in 1998 when he was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed not long after. The last owner didnt use it much over the past 20 years and it sat up till last year when it was sold to a friend of mine, who named it the Midnight Prowler. I'm so glad to see it in use again, many great memories were made on this boat. Shrimping is a big industry down here, passed from generation to generation, although not as big as it used to be, it is still a vital part of our economy.

Mobilaltima: I was to Pascogoula MS while in Navy but never got to see Louisiana.

My one coworker was born in Louisiana in Lake Charles area if I recall correct. All this time I thought you were my age; I am 37

Got your PM. Really appreciate the offer. My wife and I aren't getting any younger and we're wanting to do some traveling while we're still able to. I hope my question wasn't out of line when inquiring about Cajun hospitality. Certainly meant no disrespect.
