Getting very frustrated with ethernet cable quality

I buy 1000' spools of CAT6 outdoor w/messenger from TruCable. Use to order it direct with free shipping. They upped the minimum order. But can still order TruCable products on Amazon with free shipping.

I order some outdoor CAT6 from Unifi.

Aren't most premade cables stranded? Or only patch cables? Is anyone really terminating:their own stranded CAT6?

But I have a Fluke Network Cable analyzer and test most cables. Certainly everything I terminate.

AREN'T SECRETS to all Goodness in Connections . . Hardware then Firmware Drivers

or is It Hardware , Connections , Firmware , Limiting BS from - ISP . .

While few will buy a Fluke Network Cable Analyzer ($2000) you can buy a Klein cable tester that tests your did not mix up the colored wires and have a solid end to end connection.

The Fluke drives the cable at various speeds and will tell you the cable meets specs at 1Gb but not 10Gb for example. So if you know you have 100m run of CAT6 you should expect it to run at 1Gb but maybe not 10Gb. The Fluke will tell you. And tells you the in length of the cable. If you connect it to an active switch port it will provide you with lots of information about the switch port.

We also buy spools of CAT6 to run inside plants, staff electricians do terminating when additional runs are required and they pull the cable.
When new HO and plant were under construction we hired pros to run the cabling, tons of cabling.

You need to buy from places that sell to industry and not Best Buy or Amazon. There are cheaper ones out there, but stick to brands like Panduit or Belden. I typically like solid core, plenum rated for spools. You can buy your own RJ45 connectors and crimp them on if you know how.
