General Maintenance Advice - Engineering Explained

This is a no brainer for most of us but for anyone that isn't as mechanically inclined I thought I would post this for their benefit.
 
Yeah it's a good general maintenance video that every car owner should perform to keep up on the health of components in their vehicle so that they have time to get it serviced should there be a problem before it's catastrophic.

I would have added jacking up the car one side or one wheel at a time and checking for "Play" up/down/left/right in case the tires are loose, bad wheel bearings and things like worn tie-rods etc.

I like him too but that particular video was EXTREMELY ELEMENTARY.
I do think that directing people to pop their air cleaner housings open without mentioning that the clips on those boxes are notoriously cheap and break real easily was a huge oversight.
A little "production effort" (like finding a worn tire to more clearly illustrate the wear indicator bars) would've gone a long way.
