General G-Max AS-03 tires

Hello, I am looking for this tire in size 251/45/17. I have contacted General tire and they claim they are not instock anywhere, and are in production. yet some places carry them. Has anyone heard about these tires or know where I can get these tires. Thanks

I actually just looked at a set for my Mustang. The guy behind the counter was pretty excited to have them-Really good looking tire and they have some neat features but my mustang is a summer car only, so I am going with a dedicated summer tire.

General G-Max AS-03 is so new, very few feedback on it and even Tirerack didn't have a chance to test it with other High Performance All-Season tires.

Looking at the price of $113 for 215/45-17, I think I would go with Hankook Ventus V2 Concept H437, it is priced at $90 from onlinetires.com and UTQG is 500 A A.

Tirerack's limited review/test against a variety of competitor's tires in the wet indicated a slight superiority in the General's favor. I'm waiting for a complete review that factors in road noise and ride comfort.

Yes. Sorry. 215/45/17 for my scion tc

road and track also rated the tire very well. I just hope my toyo proxes 4 last long enough so I can get my hands on these. If not I may go for the Continental ExtremeContact DWS.

curious why during their initial testing, they didn't put it up against their king of UHPAS, the Conti ExtremeContact DWS???
