There are a few steps left off the end of the women's section.

Pull out of the parking lot, and after about 1/4 mile of travel, pull over due to severe knocking sound coming from engine compartment.

Call tow truck

Pay $160 for your dealership to diagnose one of the following issues:
1) The improper filter was used and it flew off
2) The filter was not tightened and it backed off
3) The drain plug was not reinstalled
4) The drain plug was crossthreaded and the oil leaked out
5) The engine was not re-filled with oil

Enter ligigation with your oil change establishment concerning a replacement engine

After approximately 8 weeks without your car, pick it up from your dealership with a new (to you) engine that someone located in a wrecking yard.
