I bet the increased iron is from some extra lead foot because the driver knew the car was going to be sold. I know how my trucks get treated when I have a new one on order......Like rental cars
Now, now, Primus...don't hurt your head..it's just motor oil....WHAT AM I SAYING?!?!...it is the Emerald Elixer of Elation...sometimes I wonder about me (no wisecracks).
At the time when it was available, I didn't need it cause of another car and another preference: RS 10W-60. Now, when I could and would like to use it thanks to BITOG, everything is sold to the US. It's still available in Germany, but I am not crazy to pay EUR 18/l. Recently bought Elf 5W-40 and 0W-40. Would be great to make UOA. Given my travels I could contribute a lot in BITOG UAOs records, but labs are so far !
Ditto that! My sample taken last weekend from my 2002 Suburban Z71 with the Vortec 5.3 is at Blackstone right now ... waiting for the results ..let's see ...

Everytime I go into an Autozone, I check and usually leave with 6 quarts (the ole yeller stuff right behind it rotting away) so my stash keeps at 37 quarts constant ... last time I even got a free Bosch Premium Oil Filter for the Burb with 5 quarts GC at the regualr price ... another advantage, Castrol often runs promos ... last time in March they ran a buy 4 get the 5th free promo ... ever seen that on M! ??

I'm glad so many people are finding it works well in their engines. Let's just hope Castrol keeps progressing from here and improving this product. I think it will take something with just a bit of charisma to equal what we have seen with SLX, so even though it would be neat to have some more Euro choices, I have no intention of moving to anything else. I have to admit...it won't be the same if they start brewing it in the US even if it is the same formula. From my perspective, it doesn't hurt to have a little EU charm in the mix.
The AZ around Des Moines, iowa were starting to stock it this winter .. started buying it there when I still lived in Iowa ...
