i replaced my serpentine belt tensioner a few weeks ago and also installed a new belt.The Gates brand was about $48.00!Man that's high!I will always pay more for a quality serpentine belt.Being stranded on the side of a road from a worn belt will make you wish you had spent the extra money on a good belt.

I'd have to agree. That's a lot for a belt. Must be a pretty long one..or one that's in small production. My Windstar's belt is $32 for the "high-price" belt. It's pretty good sized.
If the old belt didn't break, always throw it in the trunk just in case.
and a few tools too.
