Gasoline in Oil Sample

Found Shell premium for $2.59 at 2 stations near me. The station I use did not have a listing for premium. It's right on the highway so is probably higher than $2.59. That's about 30% higher than regular. I doubt I would get 30% more power or mileage. That would be about 50 MPG. I don't think using regular is causing fuel in the oil or it would have been there at the first oil change.

Premium is indeed about a dollar more at the Shell station nearest me. $3.199/gal. Regular is the same at all 3 shell stations nearest me, $1.969.gal. The other 2 are hard to get to, and the pumps are in awkward places. not easy to pull in and drive out.

I switched from Blackstone to Polaris because of the fuel dilution test. I just did not trust their numbers. Polaris imo is better for dilution and their tests are cheaper if you buy a 10 pack. http://polarislabs.com/

Wear numbers are excellent, at 20,000 miles. I am concerned for the future. I would like to get 300,000 miles on the engine. Was warned to see if it gets worse. Also, my MPG is down since the system was reprogrammed. My warranty will expire this fall, so want the dealer to address the matter before the warranty expires. Since this was a emissions recall, would work on that system extend beyond my warranty? Since this is an all aluminium engine, can I expect the same cylinder wear as I got with my 99 Tracer which has cast iron block?
