Gas Saver

The only thing I heard of that worked for home electricity was something claimed to reduce electricity bills. I think it did a phase shift to trick the meter into reporting less electricity use.

I have two 12 volts in my car
If I get two i will save double

I guess the scam is people are too lazy to return them when they don't do anything and they probably get less than 50% returned.

No. The power factor at a residence is already .95 or better and the amount of inductance required to change that is way beyond the little capacitors sold for this scam product.

Besides meters measure true power anyway.

Seriously, use the effort to report them to the BBB or the CFPB or someone.
They are not violating any advertising regulation that I saw and they offer a 100% money back guarantee.
After these mega oil companies learned about EcoCel, they tried everything in their power to stop it.

Those darn mega oil companies! I ordered 2 just to get back at them!!!!!
I hope your kidding right?
Unless you can access the Engine Control Unit(ECU) that would be the ECU and make specific changes in numerous PID(Parameter IDs) no outlet that only supplies voltage only and specifically to that product (I will not mention their name again) and is not in any way connected to the ECU via the the OBDII Diagnostic connector which with some devices and programs allows access for diagnostic and in some cases CALBRATION changes can not in any way possible in this Known Universe we all share and live in WORK!
Below is a single example of a short couple minute DATA Log of one of my customers ECU operation. I can change everything in his ECU except for TCM operation adjustments. I carefully examine segments of DATA Logs to decide which PID needs adjusting and most when you make a single group change I also need to consider all the other effected PIDs and make adjustments to them as well. NO SINGL BS PRODUCT like the one in this thread beginning can do that! PERIOD!

Oh come on. Plug one in the cigarette lighter socket and one in the accessory port and he'll start saving up 110%. Of course eventually he'll have to empty out some gas from the tank but maybe he can use it for the lawn mower.

Wait, what would happen if I installed a cigarette lighter socket on my lawnmower for this device?

Great idea
My zero turn has a cigarette lighter socket already.

I'm averaging 29mpg in my 2L
Mitsubishi Sport.

Now what do you think i will get with this revolutionary device on 95% interstate travel?

It must alter the aerodynamics too to achieve 47 mpg on a late model Accord.

Back in the '70's during the gas shortage I bought every gadget for my car that promised to save gas.
I followed the governments advice to drive as if I had an egg between my foot and the gas pedal.
I saved so much gas that every 200 miles I had to drain some gas out of the tank so it wouldn't over flow.

lol. Yeah me too.
Gas pellets and on and on.
I'm going to market a gas generator.
You car makes gas as you drive...

I read an article recently that someone had a “smart” dimmer switch that caused the meter to read hilariously low or even show power generation…. Granted it happened in the Netherlands but still a fun read.

I’ve long been told naphtha (old fashioned moth balls). Increase fuel economy when added in small amounts to fuel, there is some evidence they do as well as cheaply increasing octane but not enough to be worth the cost for the fuel savings. I’m guessing the exhaust smells wonderful as well.
Never had the nerve to test figuring I would plug a filter

Old fashioned mothballs are made of napthalene, which is an odiferous solid at temperatures below ~170 Deg F. Naptha is a flammable liquid mixture of various hydrocarbons.

Yes, I have heard the same about napthalene, but I've never tried it.

Naphthalene isn’t exactly non-corrosive and I wouldn’t want to guess how it interacts with some of the elastomers in the engine. Anyone that dumps mothballs into their fuel deserves what they get.

The Ecocel guys are good
30 day return policy but it takes 29 days to ship.... Awesome...lol
