They were stacking some vinyl this morning at Value village..Right place, right time.
Picked up 4 mint LPs.. I passed on rolling stones sticky fingers (zipper cover), AC/DC Livewire bootleg, and a Led zeppelin - song remains the same, they werent up to my standards for condition.
Some record buyer I see there came and bought them all though..

Due to my grandmother passing away this last week, I was unable to go out to sales, but I did manage to go to a thrift shop and find this near mint 1983-1988 Mighty Tonka Dump for $10.
I used to have this exact one as a kid.

I have a metal Apple label acetate of that Sky album. Only copy I've ever seen. Imo they sound ALOT like Badfinger. GREAT group!! Doug Feiger, later of the 80s band The Knack (not to be confused with the 60s psych band The Knack,or also known as The Knacks) was in that band.

I'm thinking The Flame had some Beach Boys involvement.

Definitely the real deal. I'd talked to Doug Feiger awhile back and he confirmed it. They way I got it,a friend of mine was given a huge box of records and he gave me a few of them (the Sky acetate,a few Dave Clark Five 45s,some Chad and Jeremy 45s). If I can figure out where it is,I'll see what the matrix #s are on it.

Dead wax is blank (no matrix#'s anywhere on the record). Its got a small chip on the lead in grooves and it's metal underneath. The record is really heavy, pretty crazy!
