Garage door tightness against frame

I have a 20 year old garage door that is your typical aluminum garage door. I think it's aluminum. Definitely not wood. It's got some insulation on the panels. But the door it not really held tight against the frame. When I come into the garage through the side door I see the door flop back away from frame and then back to the frame. The rollers on the track are not tight in the track and I assume that's not from wear as much as slop designed into the rollers and track.

I saw this replacement track that at the last 6" of movement it pushes the garage door tight against the frame. But it was $1000 or close. Expensive.

I assume part of the reason my garage is cold is the garage door is not tight against the frame all the time. Lots of cold air gets in.

Maybe I will buy one new roller and see how tight it fits?

Other ideas?

This weatherstripping approach is a much better and cost-effective solution to your problem. It is available in white, brown or black to match your trim work.

Don't know if or what type opener you have but there might be adjustment capability on the arm or carriage assembly( if it's screw drive).

Check that the opener is adjusted so it is putting some pressure on the door when in the down position. It sort of pushes the door against the opening.

Some tracks can be moved closer to the door opening. New weathstrip trim will help. They sell it at home depot in long lengths. You have to nail it on, which I would reccomend verses adhesive.

I 2nd benjy on the ebay rollers. You can get a dozen for <$30. Replace them to get rid of some slop in the system.

A check the rollers, and a slight adjustment and some good weatherstripping might be all you need.

This is the Green Hinge.
It is cheaper to buy it from their own website as supposed to Amazon, even after adding the shipping fee.
I got the Green Hinges? Any tips to installing besides reading the directions?

Waiting for some new rollers. Figure I should use new rollers with the new Green Hinges.

fit brushes that take up all the slack, like you can put on the bottom of a door
