Good Morning folks. I was out with mom and our church friend at 7 am today yard sales and garage sales. Scored the DIE HARD box set for $1 brand new shrink wrapped. Same with the other 2 DVD set. The SONY dvd player played music CD and dvds perfect. Lady didn’t have a price on it so offered 50 cents and SOLD! got a nice expandable vegetable cooker still in packaging that’s Pampered Chef for a quarter too. What deals have you found at garage sales and yard sales?

My son bought a Remington (knipco) type diesel or kerosene heater almost brand new for $25. He also got a free cast iron pan from a lady that was moving. It was a nice big one too. I have purchased lot's of fishing equipment for almost nothing. Years ago I scored a Yamaha 250 that ran great and on another occasion a Honda 90cc 3 wheeler and bought them for a few hundred dollars each. It's so long ago I can't remember the price. I now have almost everything I need but my son bought a new house a couple years ago and we go scouting a couple times a year in the spring. I love it.

Score! Bruce Willis is one actor I enjoy in "action films". Along w/Arnold.
At our RV location there is a "Free" table & have gotten a DVD player that we put into our RV last year. My wife found a few clothes that fit perfectly. Nice to get some usable stuff w/o breaking the bank.

Eons ago I came across a PRC-77 radio for like $10. I think I flipped it for $150? maybe more. Want to say online at the time they were closer to multiples of that, but I had my fun, and I made that guy's day. Most of my finds are good but nothing like that.

One year I found Jameco was selling some speakers for $1.50. Smelling an opportunity I bought 10 or 20 and sold at ham radio fleamarket for like $5/each. While wandering around I noticed others had seen that too, but had theirs marked at $10 or similar. I sold all the ones I wanted sell, which paid for my table, and I saw all the other vendors taking taking a good portion of theirs home with them.

I never took a class on business, I guess it shows.

Going to sale across street tomorrow. Guy has 60” 2 year old SOMY tv works flawless and remote and hdmi cables etc. mom said he asking $10. Hope to get it

3 garage sales I hit this morning. 1 Mike from folks house. This working George Foreman grille was marked $2. Needed light cleaning. I low balled the lady asking 75 cents. She obliged. It works flawlessly. And a duffle bag that was marked $1 gentleman said “give me 25 cents and we will call it done. Great book at 10 cents he said “that’s free”. Major score at 2 garage sales.

Went with Trevor for walk to KARNS FOODS. Got dog treats (bag of beggin’ strips and some anti persperamt. On long way back; spy’Ed a huge garage sale. This followed me home for $5!

If it wasn’t my size I’d give it to brother for gift.
