I'm replacing the accessory belts on my 2006 G35.

The idler tensioner pulleys seem in good condition with no audible bearing noise when I spin them. However, the main idler tensioner pulley has pitting and slight corrosion. The car has around 150 000 km/95 000 miles. Is it advisable to replace the idler pulleys or am I okay until the next belt change?

I went ahead and ordered both idler pulleys.

Does anyone know if I need to install the factory dust covers? I went with Gates and the box says it is not necessary. The Gates pulleys are slightly different than the factory pulleys. Not sure which direction to install as they both look the same on each side. The factory pulleys are concave on the back. Can't see that the dust covers would interfere with anything.
