That is a good time! A Camaro ZL1 did in 7min41sec and a Dodge Hellcat SRT did it recently at 7min51sec by comparison, so its in the hunt.
Great comments from OVERKILL above. Don't know why the Charger PPVs can't just get the tougher SRT front suspensions. Maybe stronger anyway, and thicker tie-rods would be nice; how easy would that be? That car has been around for so long, I guess the bankruptcy-bailout prevented timely revisions back then.

What's the big deal? It was based on an E class now its based on a Maserati.
What we need and what we want are two different things . When buying my pickup the dealer had a lime green Hellcat Challenger, I wanted it but there is no way I will pay list price or over for any car . So I didn't get it. I understand if some moron will pay list price or over so for the dealer why not go for the gusto. But I didn't need it but I would have liked to own it. The "super cars" these days are well super. I never thought we would see performance like in the 1960s. The new stuff blows them away.

MASP has Chargers, Explorers, and a few Tauruses. Many towns in MA (off the top of my head, Billerica, Chelmsford, and Waltham) use Chargers, though Billerica has at least a couple Caprices. Boston & Chelsea seem to use the Taurus. (Probably cheaper.)
