I'm just hearing things about this local barbecue joint that's only open Saturday and Sunday called Fikscue Barbecue. It's named after the owner, Fik Saleh who is originally from Indonesia. Apparently he fell in love with Texas style barbecue but wanted to thrown in his own style to it. There are some more Indonesian items (with fusion touches such as barbecue meats) on the menu like rendang and balado. One of the sides is nasi goreng, which apparently is popular throughout southeast Asia. But the beef is all halal from Creekstone Farms. Lines are often about 3 hours long.

I have also heard buzz about Goldee's near Fort Worth, which some have called the best barbecue in Texas. However, one of the owners was born to a Laotian family and he introduced a Laotian style sausage on their menu that's served with sticky rice and a special sauce.
