Fuel Injection Cleaner

I myself use Chevron Techron in my vehicles on a peridic basis. I've heard some fuel injection cleaners may cause deposites on valves which prevent them from closing fully etc. I'm sure alot of the products may cause more harm than good. What does everyone else use?

Redline SI-1
Gumout Regane
Techron
Lucas UCL & Marvel Mystery Oil(both are equally as good I think)

FP60 is a great one to, but must be ordered from lubecontrol directly.

As for deposits, I have never heard of trouble caused by ANY of the cleaners I listed above.

I use Techron in each vehicle once a year. I started with the Techron after seeing that the Volvo dealer added it as part of the major tuneup (every 30,000 miles). The Volvo has gone over 200,000 miles without any engine or injector related problems, so it certainly hasn't done any harm.

FP60 is the best stuff I have ever used - hands down. Can't wait to get some FP3000 when available.

That said, others that are pretty good include BG44k and Techron for cleaning - Lucas UCL and Redline SI-1 if you want UCL properties.

A few have. LC had to delay some deliveries and stop new orders of FP3000 until production can take care of the large fleet orders they currently are dealing with. They had stated that when theose fleet purchases are done, they will start selling it over the net again.

You can't go wrong using Techron as a standard. I use the injector cleaner and Techron with no worries/thoughts at all. I use the Techron every couple months and the injector cleaner every 6 months. There might be something better but I'm satisfied with Chevron products. They work.

Amsoil PI has been reformulated to address the issue:

Make no mistake, this is a serious cleaner. The old PI was ok, but just was not concentrated enough, nor had the more modern cleaning chemistry of the new PI.
