Frankenstein Oil What do you think?

Was just considering the oil that is currently in the Impala and had to laugh.

Roughly 3.5 quarts of Mobil 1 0W40
Roughly 1.5 quarts of Gold GC
5oz of LC with 1 oz adds every 1k
12 oz of Valvoline Synpower Oil Treatment

I put the Synpower in, thinking the extra moly would be good for the new 1.6 rocker arms. Just now read that Molakule suggests 1 oz per quart, LOL.

A few months back, I ran the following Frankenbrew in my wife's Expedition:

3 qt's QS semi-synthetic 10w30 API SH - circa 1994
2 qt's QS semi-synthetic 10w30 API SJ - circa 1996
1 qt. Marvel Mystery oil

make-up oil included:
1/4 qt. Mobil 1 0w40
1/4 qt. GC

I like mixing oils

....I guess it's a sickness.

My pickup has a mix of
10w30 NAPA synthetic (mostly)
15w50 NAPA synthetic (about 3/4 quart)
10w40 Redline (20 oz)
and 14 oz Maxlife Engine Protector.

The Engine Protector apparently gave me about 1.5 mores cSt of viscosity at 100 C.

Wife's Aerostar 3.0 once had Durablend, slightly used Maxlife, Citgo Superguard, Royal Purple, and Rislone Engine Treatment.
