Fram orange cans are the poor filters.
Extra Guard filters are not built as poorly as the orange ones. I'd call it middle-of-the-road.

Just take all of your AC Delco numbers ..Wix numbers..whatever numbers ..and put them in the Fram Catalog Competitor Cross Reference field (separated by a comma) RIGHT HERE
It will puke out all the Fram numbers that you desire. Put an XG in front of the numbers if one is not already present ..and there you have it. Click on each one. The biggest one will be apparent.

I still am on motorcraft, bad thing is I went to 4 different walmart,and none of them carry FL12A or FL10, since all motorcraft filter at walmart is $3.45 each ( This is reason why I like buy motorcraft from walmart ). autozone or oreilly , advance auto part sold em for $6+, then I came across this topic and most peoples talk about this fram filter. And I want to know more about it " best filter fram ever made " thing
Im still looking for " that " filter for this camaro and stay with it for the life of this camaro.

All I know is that the Fram XG filters are the only filters that got rid of my cold start tick. I tried every other brand out there and the XG and Mobil 1 filters were the only ones to eliminate my cold start tick.

I've never seen a 13/16-16 thread MotorCraft. About the only place you may find one would be where some indy parts house featured MC filters and HAD to have them in stock to round out the full line. Maybe a dealer would have one since they may service other makes (trade ins) ..but neither of them are going to be available for $3.5x.
