Got it last week from Walmart.
I only picked up 2 because I have no use for them but they were just over $4 each. Regular shelf item with box.

No sloppy glue or oil. Very clean.
The adbv has a perfection fit and nothing sharp anywhere. The bypass valve is just like the others we have been seeing..a sloppy fit and the pictures tell the rest.

The side protrusions are in the end cap, nice construction so the ripples can be totally effective. Such nice channels to the center core on this one too bad you wasted it, but no way to know if the ripples are the good ones beforehand.

Actually maybe the cone shape on the leaf spring is supposed to seal inside the end cap, where there is a lip. Never noticed this before.

The leaf spring only seals where the ruffled surface contacts the thin raised ring around the circumference of the end cap center hole. The protrusions inside the end cap center hole will not allow any leaf spring sealing at all. The protrusions are just suppose to hold the leaf spring tight, and they will leave large air gaps between the leaf spring and the surface those protrusions are on.

Yea no way that would seal. I’d bet the leaf spring won’t even seat fully. It’s not to late for a flashlight test.

Some have the protrusions on the leak spring, others have them in the end cap like this one. Then there is like a rim of metal sticking out the cone shape goes in to. Third and Fifth picture down. I threw my XG2 away so can’t look closer.
Now I see that rim of metal may have a rough edge, almost like cracked or something.
