Fram Ultra for 3.6 Pentastar at walmart

Needing to do an oil change I stopped at Walmart for Pennzoil Platinum and saw they had Mopar filters. So I grabbed one. While I was browsing I saw some Fram Ultra cartridge filters. So I looked and sure enough they had a Ultra XG11665. I doubled checked on the fram site and it is for the 14+ 3.6 Pentastar engines with ADV.
Not sure when they became available but it was $10.92. $1 more than the Mopar filter. I grabbed 2 right away.


Figured some on here would be interested since we had a discussion a few years ago about filter choices for this engine and a lack of a Ultra for it.

They showed up at my local Walmart about two weeks ago. I grabbed a couple also.

I will be using them when my Mopar filter stash is used up.

Thanks for the heads up. I will be switching to the Ultra as soon as I use up my last 2 WIX filters so I will go grab a couple this week.
