This is a fram tg2 from my 2013 Ford E-450 cutaway cube van 6.8L V10. Mainly short trips. It had Kirkland 5w30 in it. It got the same type and grade of oil back in it but a Fram Ultra xg2. About 14 months of service. Only 5k kms. But all short trips and temperatures from -35c to +35c.

I stopped using the fl820s on this van because of the issues I had with them. My last one had slices in the adbv which would cause it to have dry starts when it sat over the weekend. This looks much better then my previous motorcraft filters.

I really like the TG. Used to be my go-to filter before I discovered Ecogard synthetic.

Have you been able to find the Ecogard Syn for the same price or less than a TG?
I like the Ecogard as well, but for my applications, they are in the $10 range, but I can buy the TG for $7 at Walmart.

I used to be able to, last time I stocked up, but it’s been a while. I’d say 12-18 months since I last bought an Eco Syn.
