The Fram was run for about 1k miles and taken off last summer.

The Suzuki was run for about 2k miles. Was stored with the bike all winter, just taken off recently.

These are both well made filters. The Suzuki wins this showdown. Amazingly even pleats, very strong media, bonding was impeccable (I couldn't tear it off), the can thickness is second to none. This is the filter I am going to run on this bike permanently.

To be fair, everything I said above applies to the Fram except for a little less perfect pleating and the can wasn't nearly as thick.

Those fiber end caps on both filters look pretty thick, which is good as that keeps them flat and rigid like they should be.

Agreed. Both filters were extremely strong and rigid. Bonding and media were top notch. Significant pressure would be needed to tear either the end caps or the media.

Yeah. Used it to flush the old oil that came with the bike. Definitely a waste with how clean it looks.

I suspect yearly oil changes on this bike will be wasting good oil and filters regularly.

Fram end caps are like rigid paper/fiber.

Suzuki end caps are felt like.

I am starting to like Fram the more I see inside. There is a definite difference in adbv design and flow. The Fram angles the inlet holes and uses a Parker made valve. I believe I have seen that logo on them before. The Fram will have plenty of flow for sure, comparing these two, not that the other one is deficient. Nice pictures.
