I was in an auto parts store today looking at oil choices for my 7.3 PSD and I was surprised to see Fram motor oil for gas engines in the oil section. Didn't know that.

Looks like everyone is trying to get a niche in their corner of the motor oil market.
I guess they are expecting big price hikes in motor oil prices and nice profits in the future. If so, I guess it's good to get established and try to build up some brand loyalty when the price hikes come. We'll see if their strategy pays off.....

Ive seen a full synthetic from FRAM at my local Fred Meyer. Its made by ConcoPhilips so its fine oil but Im sure its made cheap cuz thats how FRAM is. Dont buy it!
