I am not kidding. I was in a National Auto Parts (a local chain) today and could not believe my eyes. There, on an end cap, in bright orange bottles was....Fram...Motor OIL!
Anyone else know anything about this strange development? Sorry, I didn't/couldn't snap a pic.
I googled it and didn't find much other than a recent (Dec 09) API license listing for, of all companies, ConocoPhillips, which probably means its decent stuff.
I just don't understand why they think the "Fram" name has more marketable clout than their own existing brands? But what do I know...
