Looks serviceable for 4-5k oci

Element looks fine in virgin state but EG supposed to a have a silicone adbv, at least according to advertising. That said, for a buck not much to quibble over. "10k miles", I wouldn't.

i wish they would just throw metal end caps on these filters and charge $0.50 more. they wouldn’t be a terrible deal at that point. especially when you consider the ST filters right below them at wallyworld. thanks for the C&P.

Agreed, very serviceable for a 4-5K OCI. At a 10k life and 95% eff. @20 microns they're a great product and value. The latest versions being shipped are using a nylon center cage replacing the metal center tube. At my Walmart, the PH7317 and Tough Guard TG7317 seem to sell through the fastest. I don't have data, only my observation of their stocking levels and the newness of the stock when I'm in the store.
