2021 silverado 1500 5.3L 127k miles
in service 11,759 miles

out/off: 8 quarts HPL PCEO 5w-30 with Fram Endurance FE10575

in/on: exactly the same.

a sample will be on its way to Wear check monday morning.

one quart of makeup oil was required over 12k miles. filter looks okay, wish it was an OG ultra instead but it’s the best we can get now.

Apart from the glue, looks great. Not a fan of the thermally bonded seam but as long it holds up which it did shown here.

Looks good.

Cut the media about 5 inches and stretch it out so we see the grime that was trapped.

Nice cut and post. I Thank You.

Looks ok. I think folks would like to see a better glue job on a premium "filter" Seam pleat tends to look wonky on these Champ synthetic media filters. I'm still hoping some folks using the FE will take a flashlight to the element outlet end with bypass left on with c&p. Like to see if they get a similar result to WCW on Youtube.

Thanks for c&p.
