Took this off my Sienna, for 5005 miles, from May through Dec 2022.

I just did a quick one here, decided not to take the media off the center tube--all I really wanted was to see the pleat spacing and if there were any tears. Spacing was great, like it usually is with the 3600, and no tears at all. Silicone ADBV was nice and supple as was expected. As you can see, pleats around the seam were fairly close together.

Kind of a nothing to see here c&p, but I've been concerned lately as I'm looking for a filter that I can take through two 5K mile OCIs and while I have used more Frams than anything else, I was concerned about seeing a couple of 3600s with the beginnings of a tear, or wide spacing.

Filter wasn't stressed much... and is oversized so good choice for your fleet of Toyotas where ever it fits.

Silicon ADBV is a plus as some still show up without it. And, eventually, the fiber endcaps might disappear too.

Endcap is a form of media support and pleat sealing. The issue I see with fiber vs metal endcaps hints at the structural strength of the cellulose media. Good strong quality self supportive cellulose(and blends)media should do fine with minimal or no end cap(hint hint). Fiber is fine, but the youtube and many auto make/model forum clueless call it 'cardboard'..... kinda funny since so is their media with all non-full-synthetic filters.

As long as you verify the silicone ADBV, I expect that orange can to work just fine for your vehicles for as long as you want them to. Supertech also has the MP filters with silicone ADBV too, with pretty good construction.

Date code is kind of blurry, but on my phone it is a bit clearer:
A21031

So what would that be, the 103rd day of 2022? As in, April 13, 2022?

Looks very good. Would you be interested in me sending you 2 TG 8316 filters that have double bypass?

If so PM me

Thank You for c&p sir 🍻🇺🇸

No thanks, I don't have a vehicle that needs those filters, unless those are oversized for mine. The fram #s for my cars are 4967 & 3614; the 3600 is oversized for the 3614. I don't recall seeing that filter # when I've looked for oversized filters.

The 8316 is equivalent to the 3600. It was used as a 'heavier duty' filter for the 2005-6 Jeep Liberty CRD 2.8 inline 4 diesel. Some brands just used the '3600' equivalent and others made heavier duty filter.

If its free, I'd definitely use it on those Toyotas.

Thanks for clarifying that.

Wow. I've owned a Liberty CRD since 2007 and had never heard of this filter. Mainly sticking to wix 51516 and 51515 filters.
Everything's been great for 200,000 miles

If you want them, PM me. I’ll gladly eat the shipping.

Thank You

Because you used Wix and also oversized options.
Like Fram, Purolator came out with the L25230 instead of the L20195. Mobil1 had the M1-211 instead of the M1-209. I'm thinking CRD was a little more demanding than a typical gasser requiring the 209/20195/3600 filter.

I don't need them. I was trying to convince the thread starter to grab them since the price is perfect. He didn't know the compatibility. Besides the 3600, the 8316 is an oversized for the 3614 too.
