FP60 vs Nuetra

neutra can be used in the oil or gas, FP60 is a gas only additive.

Neutra cleans and lubricates, FP60 does same for the fuel system. Neutra in the crankcase can do some nice cleaning, though Auto-RX isd a better, more gentle cleaner.

They are different chemistries, not much else to say. In many ways they are the same, though they work likely on different principles. Some of the best successes have been documented as mixes of neutra and FP60 or LC20. Please do some searching and youll find a wealth of information... be sure to search back 5 years.

I can say this. Customers that use neutra in thier fuel systems do not have injector problems and keep if not exceed thier mpg's.
As a purging agents fleets and factories swear by it cleaning build-up through out the system. Many of my mechanics are using it in conjunction with thier fuel injection cleaning sytems with excellent success.

Any "real-life" data on the 131C?

my experience has been excellent with using the following. has made a big difference in the way all four of my older cars perform. to be honest, i have seen very little difference in mpg. the biggest difference is the pep these four older cars have now and engines run quiter.
schaeffer's 9000 5w40 - had been using amsoil series 3000 which had no issues but this 9000 5w40 is sweet for sure.
i add 2 oz. of LC20 and 1 oz. of Neutra 131 to each qt. of engine oil at change.
i use the amsoil EaO oil filters.
in the fuel tank i use once a week 4 oz. of FP60 or FP3000 mixed with 4 oz. of Neutra 131.
once a month i use one 12 oz. bottle of schaeffer's soy ultra gas additive.
usually change oil and filter every 3-4k miles.
probably overkill on all, but my cars have never run as well as they are now and i'm happy.
the products mentioned above have really worked for me. just wish i had found them sooner.

What is the treatment dose for gas with 131c? Would like to try this. I have only used Neutra (131) with FP using Mola Brew ratios for gasoline.

I own large quantities of Neutra and 131c, both are great and I like them both very much. Nothing real as far as numbers as of yet, but I never buy fuel adds for economy anyway, its almost always a loosing game. I buy for cleanliness (which doesnt necessarily equate to economy), and especially for lubricity.

Works for me.

Same here. I bought a 20 bottle case of Neutra about a year ago. It did nothing special in the crankcase in my SAAB but I've still used it every now and then in the gas. I poured in about 6 ounces in the crankcase of my 2006 Chevy Colorado work truck about 500 miles before the first oil change. I may keep doing that. As with arx or LC20 or anything for that matter, I think Neutra is probably much more effective and best used at preventing buildup in the first place.

It definitely wins the neatest smell award as it smells like those old bottles of Lysol concentrate. Similar chemicals in fact, as I understand it.

I currently started using FP60 in my 2005 Mazda RX-8. I was wondering what would be better for the rotary engine: FP60 or Neutra? It sounds like I can use both at the same time too.

The RX-8 Renesis rotary is a bit finnicky. Some of the engines have a tendency to build up carbon and lose sealing effectiveness.

I am using FP3000 for my 8 right now because of the better UCL qualities plus the rest of the FP60 capabilities - but I also like and still use FP60 in my other vehicles (and may return to this with my 8 depending on my FP3000 results.)

However, Neutra is also a fine product in its own right and many here like to use "Mola's Brew", which is 3 parts FP60 to 1 part Neutra for the best of both worlds.

If I were to try a Schaffer product for the 8 though, I think I would lean towards Soy Ultra (131C) as it has good cleaning and better UCL properties (as compared to Neutra) that is very beneficial for an 8.

I don't know though if 131C can be blended with FP60 like you can with Neutra - maybe others can comment on this.

Anyways, my first choice and what I use now in my 8 is FP3000 with LC20 in the oil, but may give 131C a try sometime as well.
