FP Plus continuous use?

Has anyone ever had any problems (oil dilution, washdown, etc.) with continuous use (every fillup) of FP Plus?

Yes, I know this is exactly what it states to do on the bottle I have, but I am just asking for actual real world experiences.

Is it that mild as to be perfectly OK to use as a constant maintenance dose as directed??

I don't see any fuel economy improvements with the FP line, but I use high AKI premium fuel and that's expected. Around here it was observed that FP offers more MPG gains the lower "quality" the fuel you use.

I've been running FP60, now FP3000/FP+ in every tank for years with no issues. Before running FP I tried to get the much easier to obtain Lucas UCL to work for me but it caused issues (a serious drop in responsiveness at light throttle angles). Also no such issues with FP.

I've used FP60 and now FP Plus continuously in two vehicles for the past two or three years with zero issues.

No "washdown" or oil dilution issues, based on more than one Dyson UOA on each ride.

Thanks for the responses.

I also use only Shell or Sunoco premiums, but I'm guessing the FP Plus could only help lube the upper cylinder area, and hopefully aid the top tier fuels in keeping the injectors clean.

FP+ or FPPLUS is their "Greener" formulation and contains renewable resources components.

It is considered to be an upper cylinder lubricant and cleaner, an injector cleaner and lubricant, a fuel system cleaner and lubricant, and aids in fuel stabilization.

Still adding 25% Neutra?

The old fellow that had FP & LC previously said that FP60 made the fuel burn as if it was higher octane--smoothed the flame front or something. Does FPPLUS do the same?

Still adding Neutra? Don't now what you mean by that or was that question meant for someone else?

At one time I used Neutra and it is a good product; I really don't care for that Gunk carbeurator smell when there are much btter products out there with less aroma that can do the same thing!

FPPLUS does the essentially the same; it and FP60 has a component that seems to mimic an octane booster.

Keeping the combustion chamber clean also reduces the need for higher octane fuels.

Ken is refering to a mix attributed to you 75 percent FP60 and 25 percent Nuetra.

Why is fp-60 used in diesel and FP-Plus used in gas? Can FP-Plus be used in diesel fuel? If so would I use 1-10 rate or 1-5 rate? Thanks

I use FP60 regularly in two old muscle cars. This is mainly done to keep the underside of the intake valves clean. I avoid any product that is labeled 'green', 'EPA approved' or Govt. recommemded. John--Las Vegas.

Does FP-60 have anti-gelling properties or does the chemistry alone help reduce the gelling temp of diesel fuel. How cold will FP-60 take the cloud point of diesel?

The chemistry alone addresses this. I don't recall how much lower it brings gell and cloud point.

FPPLUS was shown in tests to help low sulfur diesel lubrication problems and to increase the fuel mileage slightly. Not sure why they didn't mention this.

I prefer FPPLUS for use in both gas and Diesel engines.
