Ford loses nearly $13 billion (with a 'b') in 2006

Id buy a Ford tomorrow except I despise their dealers. My family bought Fords for years and loved them. These days, however the dealers seem to love to sell you a car and then hose you on repairs later. Im still seething at having to pay $500 to replace an alternator because I didnt own a star wrench that could remove their star bolt.
I refuse to ever put another penny in the pockets of a Ford Dealer and/or his repair shop. I have one Ford left and when it leaves the driveway then its no more Ford ever again.
At this point, Ford would have to give me a car to get me to own a Ford and even then Id trade it in on a different brand so I wouldnt have to put money in a stealers pocket.
As an aside, I wrote, called, emailed and contacted Ford many times regarding this opinion and gave them many chances to re-earn my respect and they couldve cared less.
