Since mine is rather new to me- the( 2016 C-Max ) and not hybrids.
I'm assuming this is the same with the new Fusions as well.
It's cold out and the car starts on the engine first ( usually the electric motor but its 10-30F out)
It idles a bit at 1500-1700 rpm initially. Now while in park if you try to rev it or just touch the gas pedal
it will not work at all-nothing. Car seems programmed to idle and the gas pedal does not work until you put it in a drive mode ( Reverse or drive.) Never seen this before in any other Hybrid I have had.
