Time for Tires on my 13 Ford Edge FWD, I have Uniroyal Tiger paw A/S, on their at the moment. With only 20K but they have a lot of dry rot on the side wall and the tread area. They been on for about 7 years. I wasn't driving a whole lot, so the vehicle sat quite a bit.
I'm looking to get a set of tires, that wear good, handle well, and also ride good. But I am not looking to break the bank..
Thanks

Cooper Endeavor Plus. Have a set on my '18 Edge. Very good tire, very good price. Got them from DT when they had a rebate. Put a set on my Mitsubishi also.

I called Michelin they said to go have the tires inspected because they are under warranty for six years, and I will be credited on my next set of tires.. the tires are 5 years old, if it's anything like a battery obviously I'm not going to be credited much.. if somebody is familiar with tire proration please chime in.
Thank you 👍

The way this works is that they measure the tread and figure out how much tread you have left in percent and then discount your replacement tires based on that percent. If you buy more expensive tires, they'll use the dollar amount based off the old tires.

What is your tire size?

You should consider all-weather tires.

If you want inexpensive all-weather tires, consider:
Prinx Hiseason 4S HS1
Fortune Climaflex 4S (also made by Prinx)
Milestar Weatherguard AW365
Armstrong Truc Trac SU Flex
Nordman Solstice 4 (Nokian)
Cooper Enduramax

My tire size is 245-60R18 I was considering going with 255-60R18 that's what I have on there right now is all season tires. I did see the Milestar MS932.

Milestar tires are kind of expensive in your size :sneaky:

The Nordman Solstice 4 is about the same price as Milestars in your size 245/60-18
And of course, the Prinx is much cheaper.

Do you plan on driving more than 20k in the next 7 years?
