Factory fill on our 2023 Ford E450 motorhome with the 7.3 Godzilla and 6r140 trans. Great combination so far for moving the big motorhome around. It was down to 4% oil life remaining and had 3515 kms on it. 3000 of which were on it before we got it. I assume they drive these rather then haul them to the dealer from the factory. Filter looks great. Few specs in it from break in. A fram ultra went back on with some super tech 5w30 synthetic.

Nice photos and very sweet motorhome 🇨🇦🇺🇸👍

Congrats on the motorhome with the 7.3L. Although it appears to be fairly aggressive (Short) interval according to the OLM.

I think it was triggered more so based on time then mileage. We bought it last year and waited till spring to pick it up. So it had about 3000 kms to make its way to the dealer. And then sat for months on end. It’s only been used once so far which was 500 kms round trip. Oil looked fine. But I would rather change it when the iolm tells me or once a year. These seem to have lifter issues. So I don’t want any excuse from the dealer to not provide warranty when and if they become a problem.

Ah, I forget that they do "count down" annually. That makes sense for the short duration & we all know RV's don't usually put on a lot of miles anyways so it works out. That's unfortunate to hear about the lifter issues. I have been quite excited for ford to come out with a replacement to the old V10 & hopefully this 7.3L V8 turns out to be even more durable. Thanks for clarifying.

That filter looks really nice. Much better than the 820s I’ve seen.

Does anyone know if they are available anywhere?

Yes, Ford's OLM will count down from 100% to 0% in 1 year (basically goes down 2% every week) even if the engine was never started.
I found that irritating and stressful. Like you said every week you are down whether you drive it or not.

I ignore it, and change the oil & filter more based on mileage and driving habits.

Coming late to the show here but I now have a Motorhome with a 7.3. I drive it in the Pacific Norwest mnts. Pulling passes, working it hard, towing a GMC Canyon. My plan is to run Motorcraft 5w30 with a boost of Schaeffer's 132 Moly EP and a Motocraft FL820 filter. I'll run 5000 mile changes. Can you provide any updates to your Fram/ Super Tech run? Thanks
