Many years ago I saw a Hawaiian Punch delivery truck that got smashed up by a tree. Do you know the cerulean blue trucks with the big Punchy mascots on their sides? The tree was sticking out of Punchy's head.

I always thought that Punchy's hair looked kind of like tree branches anyway.

Let's keep the innuendo on the safe side of our rules; I've had to delete a few posts that crossed the line.
The humor section is given a tad bit of leeway, but it's not meant to be a free-for-all with no respect for our policies.
Keep it clean.

Does the co. make good products, or is it rather a marketing success? Pretty sure for most of my life, it's been a corporate owned entity....be curious what people who live in WI say...there was mention of Johnsonville earlier on this thread. Johnsonville once called me for a business reference but they didn't go with the co. I recommended and that they were calling about.

I think Punchy stole Carmen Miranda's headdress to make some fruit punch, and was left with just the palm fronds!

I'm not going to look it up, but I think the scraggles jutting from Punchy's head/hat are random pieces of straw (or whatever plant matter a Hawaiian hat is made of).

Think outside the lane.

Pandanus palm leaves? I guess you are right. Punchy is wearing a hat made from palm leaves.

Feast your eyes on this OM Weiner Whistle I got at the 1964 World's Fair at New York when I was 7. Just did some quick searching, the whistle was introduced in 1951 and was included in packs of weiners in 1958. Apparently there were vending machines at the World's Fair with whistles. I don't remember much but I do clearly remember the GM exhibit, there were convertibles "driving" around a track in a big building going past different displays and dioramas. I got to drive much to my 5 yr old sister's dismay.
