Since M1 stopped making their synthetic spray lube, I've begun using Amsoil's MP Metal Protector on mspark's recommendation. I really like this stuff.

My question: Is this stuff (or MPHD Heavy Duty Metal Protector) harmful to polyurethane swaybar bushings and endlinks? The brand I'm using is energy suspension. I asked Amsoil about this and they indicated that they don't have data one way or the other.

I would say it won't harm poly bushings, as I used it in and around...but I wonder if it's the best application? It dries kinda waxy.

I usually use nasty boat trailer grease on my poly bushes.

Poly bushes are very resistant to oil damage.

Thanks, Pablo. I got some on suspension components and didn't want to crawl back under to clean everything, especially the front bushings because the subframe has to be lowered to get to them. I've been using just ordinary non-lithium grease for the bushings and used formula 5 bushing lube for the install.
