Excellent news! Happy to hear. This was probably just the condition of the oil that'd been in service for too long. The ol' 96' keeps on truckin'.

I went back and re-read the first thread. It does seem like what I said there might be the case:

I wonder if at some point on this OCI it was run without an air filter. Or a damaged air filter that was changed before you took ownership.
