This year we decided to avoid the crowd and went to Crissy Field to see the Blue Angels.
Instead of showing what amounts to the same stuff as last year, I'll just show some snaps
from that day, leaving the Blue Angles out.
Looking across Crissy Field, the Bay, with Angel Island in the background:
Art exhibition sponsored by multi national mega corps like Sony:
Very nice old passenger ship (converted coastal freigher?) with Alcatraz behind it:
The Bay was crowded with ships and boats. You can see the Maltese Falcon, a three-masted ultra-luxurious yacht (with submersible!), far in the back:
People waiting on the beach for the Blue Angels:
Very nice flyover:
Last year they showed off two Raptors, this years they had one Osprey fly by:
Then the Blue Angels did their routine.
