Flea Problem!!!!!

If they make a flea killing liquid, I'd try mixing some up and using it in a carpet shampooer. I'd soak the carpet in the same way you would with carpet shampoo, let it sit a while and suck it out. If it smells bad, you can always go over it again with regular carpet shampoo.

I cant think of another way to get an infested carpet cleared of fleas. You have to kill them AND their eggs to succeed. A vacuum cleaner alone does nothing but suck a few up, but most will remain and breed.

Frontline plus. Our Beagle has it on from the first warm day until the first frost. Most of the year.It kills fleas and ticks. I thought it was a pricey gimmick at first but it works. She's from a hunting pack and has to be exercised in the yard before I go out. I usually throw the frisbee 8-10 times for her to run after.

Liquid nitrogen poured over the carpet should kill all the fleas.
