As far as I know, there aren't a lot of options for fixing a 7 pin trailer plug that the cable jacket has separated from the plug, potentially letting water/corrosion into the plug. I didn't want to just goop some silicone on it since that would just break off during use.

3d printer to the rescue again. Using flexible TPU, some RTV adhesive, and wire ties, I came up with this solution.

The problem, jacketing pulling out of the molded 7 pin plug:

The solution, sitting on the printer:

Test fit. The cable jacket is tight and once it cures, should prevent the cable from pulling any further out of the connector.

Assembled. Squeezed RTV into the gap where the jacket and plug meet, and then a thin layer on the other surfaces to seal and stick it together, backed up with wire ties.

I'll take 3 please. :)
Lol, if you cover materials and shipping I'm sure I could make you a few sets. I'd have to look and see how much filament they use per set.

I'd imagine that most of the cables are the same diameter, but measuring yours would be a good idea as well. My cable was slightly over 15mm.
