Good evening Bitogers. Today using my nutribullet to make a smoothie I noticed my Nutribullet seems to be lacking on power end. Made smoothie fine, just smelled of smoke after using it. I can see it arcing kinda when I flip it upside down. Is it worth taking it apart to try to fix it or should I just replace it?

I have owned this Nutribullet since 2009 also

Thank You for advice and help in advance

i used to make baby food for my kids and burned up 3 oster brands that were supposed to be durable with metal gears. Same issue smoked the motors. Then bought a BlendTec off Ebay that is like the ones you see at a Smoothie King. It's rated like 18 amp and 3.5 HP. There are a bunch of interesting youtube videos on these things. I have ground up avocados seed and all for extra fiber. Very smooth and powerful. A little noisy if you don't use the clear enclosure box designed to reduce noise. Vitamix are another very good brand. My parents have a Kitchenaid that is a little cheaper but seems very good as well.

I have a Magic Bullet from back when they were on TV a lot. No complaints about it. Still use to make protein shakes.

I'd take a look at this
