We might get some ..but it will never last. I don't think we've had a white Christmas in a long time. I'm hoping for one good blizzard. The jeep's need exercise!

Houston got some snow today ?

We may have some rain (70% chance) on Monday in So Cal, then few showers the rest of next week along with lower temperatures in the low 60's.

The heater is still off, I need to light up the pilot light and turn on the heater soon.

It's pretty neat stuff to visit. Just don't bring it home.

All I know is that it has been about 25°F 3-4 mornings now...due for the same the next week+. Not enough moisture for much snow making...that's pretty much how our winter climate runs. Pacific maritime weather, when wet it's warmer ocean mass....cold, continental (dry) air mass. When the edges overlap, anything goes. As for that idea (less than a theory), glad it was debunked.

Earliest ever on record now for Houston (Dec-4). They tied the record last year on Dec-10.

We got 3.5 cm here overnight. It'll all be gone by evening though.

Seriously! We've had probably a foot total this winter, along with 2 nights now below 0. Have all you want rudolphna! Makes for some good cold start vids.

I'm on the coast, so if I get any snow, it is not gonna stick, the ground is too warm. I gotta get my snow blowers going though.

We didn't get any south of Lake Pontchartrain, though one of the high school football games, up in Franklinton I think, saw some good flakes.

It was all of 37 F. here this morning. Too cold for most New Orleanians. Miss Linda and I went out to the mall early and found the things we needed before the torpid lizards crawled out and onto the roads.

Probably a good 1 1/2-2 inches on the grass now, it's only started to stick to the roads for the last 2 hours or so (been snowing steadily since about 2 o clock.

Not sure how the rest of you all are fairing, but we're getting dumped on pretty good here in the Midwest. Blizzard warnings are out, and they're saying 8-15" when it's all said and done!

We're supposed to get 4-6 inches total tomorrow, but it will be tempered by rain in the afternoon. I'm thinking they might cancel school so they don't have to send us home in bad weather.
