Not painted yet in Lufthansa livery. I’ve gone by the Boeing Everett Facility/Paine Field and saw all the planes parked and ready to be delivered in airline livery.

I’m reading that the first deliveries are expected to be in 2027. But it’s been delayed by quite a time.

I saw a video of it flying today. I sometimes see other jets flying around since I live just north of Everett, WA. I never get tired of seeing any of the Boeing commercial jets. If it ain't Boeing, I'm still going, but would rather be going on a Boeing. :ROFLMAO: The original saying was "If it ain't Boeing I'm not going"

I will be flying to LAX in about a week on some Embraer 175, with Alaska air. I think they are made in Canada? I have not flown since 2011 to Alaska to fish with my brother for Bristol Bay salmon. The last two years were not pleasant fishing with him.....

He surely smoked the Goodyears coming in ! I found this video has a nice spool up of the GE air hogs:

I had an opportunity to be around one when they did high altitude testing here in Colorado Springs. It is next level from the original 777.
It is also super quiet.
Watched a 7-8 do touch and goes in Billings MT in 2013. Boeing's winter proving/testing airport is in norhteastern Montana.

Boeing is going to have to sell a ton of them
One of the big hangups has been the folding wingtips. Boeing had to have multiple redundant back ups to absolutely ensure the wingtips wouldn't fold in flight for any reason. Plus factor in brand new engines that are huge.

Folding wingtips have been around for over 80 years - done correctly - not a big deal.

Let's hope they can get it certified soon and have no serious issues. I want them to be successful.
BTW in my old early flight control system documentation, the original 777 was to have folding wingtips. It was dropped somewhere along the way.

I used to work with a couple of older Boeing engineers. These guys had spent their full careers there and talked of Boeing pre MCD. Traveling with them was hilarious, as they knew which aircraft they didn’t and did want to fly on. One also took complaints over poor cabin pressure regulations. They scorned that plane.

I live in Boeing alley you could say. But I have not flown much over the decades. I would love to fly on a 777, or 787. Just got back from my niece's graduation flying the Embraer model QX E175? Seemed OK. My first flight out of PAE, Paine Field Everett. That was a pleasure.......LAX.....not so much..... :ROFLMAO:
