Seems with a proper running engine and intake well sealed 10,000 miles with a top of the line syn is easy look at the uoas and not the first run with the syn.

I'm trying to convince myself to go 10,000 on Mobil 1 0W-20 in my 03 Civic. I'm presently at 6,700 and trying to resist the urge to change!. I do plan to do a UOA.
